A purchase request needs a clear approval trail. Other nonprofit workflows may need messages, forms, or calendar updates routed across several apps. The training options differ in connectors, environment, and the strength of the human approval step. Choose the workflow your team needs, then confirm that its software and permissions are available in your actual tenant.

Editorial decision aid: the steps describe choosing training, not a promised course exercise.
How to choose
For approvals, follow the request record
Look for a sequence that collects structured fields, checks for missing values, routes to a named manager, records approval or rejection, and notifies the requester. Confirm whether finance or board review is included and whether a rejected or duplicate request is handled explicitly.
For broader automation, compare connectors
Cross-app courses may connect forms, email, SharePoint, Slack, Gmail, Notion, or CRM systems. Match the teaching to the applications your organization uses. A no-code label does not guarantee a connector is available, permitted by your administrator, or safe for sensitive data.
Keep the human decision visible
Use AI to draft or classify a request, not to release payment or bypass policy. Test missing amounts, duplicate submissions, an unavailable connector, and a rejected request. Name the person who owns the flow and can pause it when a field or permission changes.
Fictional nonprofit example
Fictional scenario: a nonprofit routes volunteer-event purchases to a manager and then finance. Staff test complete, missing, duplicate, and rejected requests with sample data, then verify that the flow records who approved the spend before any purchase is made.
Before you enroll
Does the course build an approval trail or a more general cross-app flow?
Which apps, connectors, and tenant permissions are required?
Are rejection, duplicate, and missing-field cases practiced?
Who owns the workflow and retains human authority over spending?
Choose training by the request path and connectors you need. Keep approval with an authorized person and test failure cases before relying on the flow.
