Group workshop, live cohort, or self-paced team training?
Teams can buy a group workshop, join a live cohort, or assign self-paced learning. These formats differ in capacity, eligibility, live support, total hours, and separate software costs. A group quote is not the same as a per-seat price, and advertised free tuition may still require a paid AI account. Compare the total commitment for your team’s roles and schedule.
01For a group session, confirm capacity and quote
02For a cohort, check eligibility and workload
03For self-paced learning, add tool and seat costs

How to choose
For a group session, confirm capacity and quote
Some offers provide onsite or live-online delivery, while a short workshop caps participation at twelve. Ask for the group price, session length, staff-to-facilitator ratio, and what learners practise. A future advertised date should be reconfirmed before staff reserve time.
For a cohort, check eligibility and workload
Cohort options may run for several weeks, include recordings or drop-ins, or require a minimum background. One nonprofit and social-sector route is five weeks with 25 learning hours, one year of LMS access, and eligibility tied to current or recent study plus AIforALL completion. A hybrid course’s language choices do not prove each cohort offers every language.
For self-paced learning, add tool and seat costs
Catalog courses can suit distributed schedules, but enrollment access may need confirmation. A course with free tuition may require a paid desktop Claude or ChatGPT account. Compare expected hours, exam or certificate conditions, team practice time, and whether staff can access the required tools.
Fictional nonprofit example
Fictional scenario: a 15-person charity compares a group quote, individual seats, and self-paced learning. It checks whether a 12-person workshop requires a second session, whether staff meet cohort prerequisites, and whether required desktop AI accounts add cost before selecting a format.
Before you enroll
What is the team size, and are quotes per person, per cohort, or for a group?
What are the current dates, capacity, eligibility, and total learning hours?
Are course languages available in the specific cohort your team can join?
Which AI tools, subscriptions, LMS access, and certificate fees are separate?
Compare group capacity, live support, eligibility, time, language, and software cost together. Verify current enrollment and the full team price before committing.

The NGO track chooses suitable tasks, structures prompts and troubleshoots/refines outputs with few-shot examples for outreach, stories and proposals. A harm-prevention framework and checklist address bias, inaccurate answers and security before an ongoing-learning strategy. CurveUp offers NGO onboarding and a linked worksheet

List NGO AI opportunities, draft donor/grant materials, use NotebookLM for theory-of-change/logframe, design surveys and dashboard, create consent-aware advocacy content, organize CRM/documents, then document three improvements for a real or hypothetical NGO. Module labs and capstone are promised.
Four units cover voice-aware prompts, grant outlines/LOIs, budgets and reports, donor letters, board agendas, volunteer onboarding, sponsorship and policy.
